Riga Waterfront Presentation centre | Public space

Riga Waterfront is a project for the development of the Riga Passenger Port's waterfront, aimed at transforming this area into one of the most diverse, modern, and functional parts of the center of Riga. Currently, the planned scale of the project and development plans can be seen on models located in the project presentation center; the center is a public place, accessible and open to all visitors and interested parties.

The KRASSKY team realized an important stage in the presentation center's interior design, providing furniture and curtains for the lobby area, dining area, conference rooms, and lobby amenities. Clear and impeccable cooperation was particularly important in the implementation of this project since the client had a very clear idea of aesthetics and quality, targeting a result that met the strict budget and timely deadlines. Many years of experience and professionalism of the KRASSKY team allowed to provide scrupulous logistics work, speeding up delivery times by an average of one and a half months.

As part of the cooperation, KRASSKY furniture specialists chose the interior solutions. This is the first public space in Latvia that used furniture from such brands as Minotti, Cassina, Porro and Gallotti&Radice.

The lounge furniture combination particularly stands out in the lobby area, featuring sofas of geometrically pure shapes called "Horizonte," which create a pleasant synergy with the round lounge chairs "Tape" and "Reeves Large." They are complemented by the "Jacob" coffee table with a marble top and the "Aeron" monolithic coffee table of dark wood.

The high ceilings and panoramic windows of the spacious public area are integral elements of the interior, complemented by 7-meter-long curtains on all windows from home textile brands Zimmer + Rhode and IFI. KRASSKY experts considered the particular features of every room, as well as the functional and aesthetic properties of different curtains. Both decorative curtains and heavier drapes were chosen, taking into account parameters such as shrinkage coefficient, drapery, sewing, edge making, and on-site adjustable curtain length, which is an important factor in the overall interior. Curtains ironing and hanging, as well as curtain fixing solutions were also ensured in accordance with the qualities and functions of each type of curtain in the premises.
