Lobmeyr

The world's thinnest crystal, measuring only 0.7–1.1 mm. Even the most talented glassblowers need many years of experience to create fine muslin glass. Each LOBMEYR product is created by at least 18 masters, from crystal blowers to engravers.

This family company, founded in Vienna in 1823, has been producing iconic, long-lasting crystal products for six generations. In 1925, LOBMEYR received the Grand Prix at the Parisian Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes for Oswald Haerdtl's spherical candy dish.

LOBMEYR pieces are exhibited at MoMA and the Neue Gallery in New York, and the Vienna Museum of Applied Arts.
