It all began in 1895 when Jakob Zehnder from the family of entrepreneurs run a mechanical workshop in Gränichen that used to repair bicycles and sewing machines. In 1923 the legendary light motorcycle “Zehnderli” was developed. Thus, using a motorcycle cooling system as a reference point, the world's first Zehnder Charleston steel tube radiator was born.
